On 24 April 2026, the final of the 26th edition of the Voivodeship Competition “To the Rescue of the Earth” took place at the Wieliczka Campus. This year’s edition was organised under the theme “Nature in Balance” and brought together young participants from across the Małopolskie Voivodeship.
Geomar Recykling was pleased to support the event as one of its sponsors. Anna Skoś, a representative of our company, attended the official final gala.
For many years, the competition has promoted environmental education, responsibility for the natural environment, and active attitudes among children and young people. In this year’s edition, participants presented their skills in many categories, including environmental knowledge, visual arts, photography, literature, and film. The event was attended by primary school pupils, preschool children, and people with disabilities, giving the competition a particularly inclusive character.
The final also featured artistic performances prepared by students. The young performers presented a musical and theatrical programme, reminding the audience of the need to protect nature and care for the future of our planet.
As a company operating in the recycling and waste management sector, we highly value initiatives that shape environmental awareness from an early age. We believe that environmental education, practical action, and the consistent development of responsible attitudes have real significance for the future.
We would like to thank the organisers for preparing such a valuable event, and we congratulate all participants on their knowledge, creativity, and commitment. The “To the Rescue of the Earth” competition has once again shown that the younger generation wants and is able to take active action for the environment.
